How your personal year is calculated
Add together every digit of your birth month, your birth day, and the year you want to check. Keep adding until you reach a single number, stopping at 11, 22 or 33.
For example, someone born on 3 July checking 2021: 0+7 + 0+3 + 2+0+2+1 = 15, and 1+5 = 6. That was a 6 year for them.
What each personal year brings

Endings and letting go. A chapter closing.

A master year of responsibility for others.
Questions
It is the theme of a single year for you personally, based on your birth month and day plus the calendar year. Personal years run in a nine year cycle, from new beginnings in a 1 year to endings in a 9 year.
Most numerologists, including us, change it on 1 January. Some prefer your birthday. If a year feels like it shifts around your birthday, that is worth noticing.
Yes. Change the year in the calculator to any year, for example the year you moved, married, changed jobs or went through a loss. Many people find the big events of their life line up with the matching personal year.
A 9 year closes a cycle. Things that begin in a 9 year often carry the energy of an ending with them, even when they feel like a start at the time.
